I loved doing this song in concert. My band crushed it and when things come together, magic happens.
This is a song originally recorded by well known Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli, the title, literally "I will leave with you". The song is considered Bocelli's signature song. It is played repeatedly at The Bellagio resort in Las Vegas and synchronizes with the dancing waters on the lake in the front of the resort, which was my old boss' inventive idea that he incorporated into his shows at the Las Vegas Hilton.
A second version of the song, sung partly in English, released in 1996 as "Time to Say Goodbye", paired Bocelli with English soprano Sarah Brightman, and achieved even greater success, topping charts all across Europe, including Germany, where it became the biggest-selling single in history.
