Here's a recent note from a fan about the 'Grand Piano' CD::
Even though I play piano, I don't often LISTEN to piano. However, it was easy to see what a great album this was. What I like about it is how it includes so many songs of which I like the 'real' version, but that also sound great when played on the piano. The main reason I looked into this album was because the two 'Phantom' tracks (#1 and #15) were the best I could find when searching for piano arrangements from Phantom of the Opera. It's a lot better than the "Phantom of the Opera Piano-Strings Tribute" that always came up. Both "Music of the Night" and "Angel of Music" are beautiful adaptations. Other tracks I like are "Don't Cry For Me Argentina", "Somewhere Over the Rainbow", "The Godfather Theme", and "Titanic", which I play on the piano myself, and which sounds wonderful here. Oh, and I was thrilled to find the "Romeo and Juliet" track on here - it's my mom's favorite song to play on the piano and I remember when I was little I would always beg her to play it. It's a very pretty song, and seeing it here brings back memories (let me know if I could sound any sappier!) Anyway, this is great 'relaxation' music (a nice change of pace for me), and when it comes to piano on iTunes, it can't be beat. Bravo!
